This material is used in a wide variety of industrial applications due to its excellent mechanical and chemical properties. One of the most prominent uses of fibre glass is in the manufacture of <strong>glass fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) poles<\/strong>. In this blog post, we will explore what fibreglass is and the advantages it offers compared to wood and concrete poles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is fibreglass?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Glass fibre is manufactured from molten glass which is extruded into fine filaments. These filaments are bundled together to form yarns that can be woven or moulded into different shapes.
